Whether you're navigating through a busy city or taking your Jeep off-road on rocky and uneven terrain, you can trust the HCE-C2600FD4 to guide you through obstacles with ease by selecting one of the three viewing modes: Panorama, Corner, and Ground.
The Panorama View gives you a wide 180-degree landscape (125-degree vertical) view perspective so you can navigate through tight spaces. Corner View has a split-screen feature that allows you to see obstacles beyond the front left and front right corners of your Jeep and their proximity to your vehicle. Ground View gives you the depth of your front bumper in relation to obstacles immediately in front of your Jeep.
You can also install the camera underneath your Jeep as a forward-facing application so you can monitor the suspension or front wheels on your Alpine touch screen.
RELIABLE IN ANY DRIVING CONDITION
Whether backing out of garages or riding through shady trails, you need a camera that can handle the changes in light without washing out images. The HCE-C2600FD4 has High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology for improved image quality. HDR technology can manage a wider range of luminance through the camera's sensor, as compared to standard cameras. Light and dark areas are captured and adjusted for even exposure and white balance, preventing the image from being washed-out or too dark as you drive between sunlight and low-light conditions.
The HCE-C2600FD4 is ready for rugged use with an International Protection Rating (IP) of 68, so it’s protected from dust and water immersion up to one meter.
DESIGNED TO FIT YOUR SMITTYBILT FRONT BUMPER
The HCE-C2600FD4 is designed to directly fit on your SmittyBilt XRC Gen2 Front Bumper for the 2007 – 2018 Jeep® Wrangler JK model. For easy installation, two mounting holes are located on the front frame mounting plates of the bumper. A mounting bracket is included for direct fit on to compatible SmittyBilt bumpers.
The HCE-C2600FD4 is only compatible with Alpine AVN or AV systems with a direct camera input. If you’re using the front view camera along with an Alpine rear-view camera system, you need to add the KCX-C250MC Multi-Camera Selector Interface (sold separately) to switch back and forth between the images from the various cameras. The KCX-C250MC is compatible with up to three camera systems.
